There are words I can not find
However much I’ve tried;
Awestruck in my gratitude
Not having been denied
Kindnesses I could not earn
Yet given, unreserved -
Occluding tepid fear with faith,
Upheld, though undeserved.

Have a blessed day! I am so happy to have found you here in this our shared world.
Happy Thanksgiving! :) What an endearing post!
Happy Thanksgiving, dear friend. I hope your day was filled with love and laughter - and lots of good food. <3
I always enjoy your holiday posts. The sentiments are warmly received and appreciated.
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful day!! And I'm sure those kindnesses are very deserved.
I am truly grateful for knowing you, and all of our friends here. My mind and heart are richer for it.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, Joaquin. I'm thankful to have found your world of poetry. I learn so much from what you share.
Hi, Joaquin. Sorry I'm so slow this week. I thought I would have more internet access while traveling, but I thunk wrong.
Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I love the sentiment in your poem. I'm also thankful to have met you here in this lil' world of ours. You rock every month of the year:)
Joaquin, wow. This is so beautiful and sincere. It's a simple way of saying something complicated..or maybe the other way around? Lovely. I totally love the graphic, too. I love "old-timey" illustrations. Great poem, profound meaning, blessed friend.
My brother treated me with a big feast at Thanksgiving. We never let a chance slip by to celebrate!
Hope you had a swell time with your family and friends too, friend.
all - sorry for the blanket reply - but please know that i feel exactly the same. you are all deeply appreciated as writers, as readers, as friends. this blog would not still be here without your insight and encouragement and inspiration - i know i say it all the time, but i can't say it enough. thank you.
And there but for the grace of a big and beautiful god goes I too.
I tho so unworthy
still am a child of his care
so his Word teaches me
that his love reaches me
eev-ree-wheeere.
(part of an old Sunday School song I've never forgotten.)
